Information that you provide to us
MediaKey.com receives and stores all information that you enter on a merchant's sign-up (buy) pages maximum 1 year. This includes:

1. Credit card sign-up page - the website you are purchasing services from, your e-mail address, first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, and country.
2. Digital Rights Management Portal - the interface you apply for and receive a license to consume digital media from, your operating system version, your Windows Media Player version and your browser version.

Information that we automatically receive
MediaKey.com receives and stores certain information whenever you make a purchase from a merchant using our service, or send us e-mail or forms. For example:

1. IP Address: We identify the numerical IP address assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider.
2. E-mail Correspondence: MediaKey.com often requests a confirmation when you receive and open an e-mail communication delivered by MediaKey.com. We archive all e-mail sent in and out of our network, and we identify the origination IP address of all mail sent into our network.

Information from third parties
MediaKey.com does not request information about you. We only process information that you provide at the time you decide to purchase from a merchant using our service.

Protection of your privacy
MediaKey.com will release data when we believe the release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Agreement, and/or protect the contract rights of our Clients. MediaKey.com receives the following data from the owner/operator of the website from which you are purchasing items or services utilizing MediaKey.com' services.

1. Credit card sign-up page information including the website you are purchasing services from, your e-mail address, language preference, credit card number, expiration date, first name, last name, address, city, state, zip, country, and your agreement to be bound by MediaKey.com' terms and conditions.
2. Digital media content requests including the exact piece of digital media that you are requesting to view.

It is your obligation to provide the merchant with accurate and up-to-date information. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as processing your purchase request, responding to customer service inquiries, loss prevention, improving our service, communicating with you, and allowing our clients to provide customer service and fulfill their obligations to you. MediaKey.com' employees have access to your information on a need to know basis. MediaKey.com will not sell your information to a third party for any reason.

In addition, MediaKey.com as part of the electronic rights management and credit card processing system must provide limited information to the services that connect it to the companies that perform the banking functions. The credit card associations have strict privacy rules that these companies must adhere to in order to be authorized to receive and process credit card transactions. MediaKey.com will never knowingly provide your information outside of the system.

MediaKey.com employs the latest and best techniques available for protecting it systems from intrusion by unauthorized individuals, and is constantly upgrading its security as better methods become available. All information is stored behind firewalls and other security systems. Our data center utilizes state-of-the-art physical security measures to prevent unauthorized access to the facility.

MediaKey.com does not request, or knowingly collect identifiable information from children under the age of 18. MediaKey.com does not knowingly use or share personal information from users under the age of 18 with third parties. MediaKey.com does not offer children any promotions involving games, prizes, or any other activity that would induce a child to divulge personal information.

In order to provide our customers with an ease of use, we utilize cookies that stores personal identifiers. All cookies are stored for a maximum of 1 year only.
